I can't express how much I love my 3 best friends. We are like, inseparable. We are basically sisters. One of which is my actual sister, fraternal twin, in fact. I don't want to disclose their names, because, you never know. But, I love them. Every time we are together, I feel so much better.
So, today "friend one" called me at like, 1:00 or something in the afternoon, to ask if we can go swimming. I brightened up so quick, because my sis and I haven't gone swimming this whole summer, and we've been wanting to go, but never got around to it. So that was supposed to be the highlight of my summer, and I was cool with that. So "friend one and two" came over, and we talked, laughed, and caught up, because we haven't seen "friend one" since the last time she came, which was a long time, because she moved. (Boo hoo) And so we had a great time acting like fools. We had to beg my mother to go to the pool, cause she was worried about us going alone, blah blah blah. When we finally got to the pool, we found out that it was closed. Grrrrrrrrrr. So we decided to go to "friend two's" house, and chilled, played with her baby nephews, walked to the corner store, where I got MUD on my feet, got stuck in it too. Sheesh, my luck that day was not cute. We bought some snacks where the cashier was VERY rude, and walked back to her house. We watched the new episodes of our favorite shows, and unfortunately, my sis and I had to go back home. When you're with your friends, everything becomes just natural. There are no awkward silences, and you just get each other. You dont fight even though you tease, and get teased back, you dont take things the wrong way, you just have fun. Thats what having true friends is really about, and im so lucky to have the friends I have. I dont need to be the most popular person at school, my friends are the only ones I need.
Anyways, that is my reason for not writing all day, my bad, hope you didnt miss me too much

Degrassi: The Next Generation
My. All. Time. Favorite. Show. Ever.
If you know me, you know that I am one of the BIGGEST Degrassi Fan ever. If you haven't heard about this show, or seen it, then get comfortable, because when I talk about Degrassi, it takes years before I'm finished.
The show is about a crowd of students enrolled in Degrassi Community School, and focuses on mainly the tough situations its students (ranging from 9th-12th grade) go through. Each season brings new characters, brings back old characters, and leave others behind. Each individual character bear conflicts that relate to real teens in our society. Situations that range from teen pregnancies, transgenders, addictions, suicide, cancer, rape, parent divorce, teen marriage, homosexuality, mental and physical disabilities, heartbreak, friendship, stress, etc. With these problems, actors portray their character's daily lives, the bullying, and struggles they go through, home situations, and how they deal with their problems. Representing that more true-to-life situations dont always have happy endings is what makes this show so incredible. I love the fact that in reality, we can relate to these situations- and most of us don't have it as bad, so we can empathize.
This show is finishing up its 12th season, going on its third, and as we watch the students graduate, we cry, we laugh, we smile, we cry again, and say goodbye to the old characters, and get ready for new characters, and what story they bring. Ive seen every episode, so I dont want to spoil anything, but watch Degrassi on Teen Nick Thursdays at 9pm et / 6pm pt. Tune in every Thursday, starting July 11th.

Teen Translation
Things We Wish Parents Just Understood
Adults are literally clueless to what us teenagers think. We are like a different species to them. Adults often tend to forget that they were once teens themselves, and that their generation were begging their elders to get a clue too. So, I created this post for the people who find us teens unfathomable. Btw (by the way), this does not apply to all parents. I'm sure there are a lot of parents that do understand our situations, but for those that don't, this is dedicated to them.
1. Movies being rated "R" will not prevent us from watching it.
I was watching movies PG 13 waaaaaaaaaaaay before I was even a preteen. Same rule applies to rated R movies. If we find a movie interesting, we will watch it, no matter the rating. The rating just labels how much of a bada** we are for not being such goody-goodies.
2. Forbidding us to do something makes us want to do it even more.
If only parents knew, telling me that I can't go to that party that everyone will be at, makes me even more determined to go. So when you are asleep, you better believe i'm climbing that window to catch a ride from that friend you told me not to hangout with, wearing what you will never let me leave the house with, and acting like that girl you told me to stop idolizing, at that party you forbade me to go to.
3. Not all girls wear makeup to look good for somebody.
You don't necessarily have to have someone to look good for. Maybe you're having a pleasant morning and want to look just as amazing as you feel. I wear makeup because I don't want to look completely naked-faced. I'm not always trying to impress someone.
4. No, you don't know what its like to be a teenager. At least not one in our generation.
Times have changed, honn. These teens have come more vicious, and evil. Most of them are like the last stage of a video game, hard to beat. We are competing. For what, we have no idea. But the minute we walk into the door of our high school, our mission has began. Its a matter of survival, a matter of life and death (not really). Our obstacles are just what we are taught in middle school to avoid. (drugs, sex, gangs, hanging with the wrong people, etc.) Only a few make it out entirely unscarred, but those are just the lucky ones. Some are just waiting to mess up, and have their life turn in the wrong direction. That adds to the pressure of trying to fit in, and make friends.
5. We don't hate you.
There are some brats out there that feel the need to express that every now and then, but even they don't hate you. We just wish you guys understood where we're coming from. Gosh, some of y'all need to listen. Don't listen to what you want to hear, listen to what we are trying to say. Take some time and think it over. Try compromising before you say no. We have feelings too, and we don't like hearing that we aren't allowed to do something. In the end, both of you gets hurt. Compromising really is the way to go, because its a win-win situation. That's the key to avoiding teen rebellion. We just want more responsibility and trust to go with it.
6. I miss you.
Even though we love to go partying all the time, hanging out with our friends, and just avoiding you sometimes, we miss that bond we used to have. Its not the same now that we've gotten different opinions on everything, and argue a lot, but sometimes we wish we could go play basketball in the park, or go shopping for the heck of it. We really do want to talk to you, but just don't know how, so we avoid it. Maybe we can play games like 20 questions to take the pressure off, instead of full on interrogations.
These were just a few that i thought of, of course there could be more, but i dont want to make this longer than it already is. You can email me, or comment some other things you wish parents understood, or what parents wish kids understood. Anyways, i hope you guys like this post, keep updating for more

Summer Bucket List
Okeeey, so today I wanted to make a post about SUMMER ☼ Basically a bucket list of things to do when you're bored, and have nothing to do. I know if you are reading this, you are probably bored. So ~Share This~ Please, thanks! (Btw, this is a free bucket list. All of the ideas here do not require any money, so no worries!)
1.♬ Learn how to play an instrument.♪ You never now, maybe you might become a professional musician one day? Today may be the first day of your career. Take a shot.

6. Get a makeover. Btw, this is the only portion that might involve money,sorry... Unless you can stretch your resources and find a cheap/free alternative to these ideas. Since you are going to Highschool, (or maybe Elementary/Middle) you want to look like a new you. You want your peers and friends to not be able to recognize you. You want that butterfly metamorphosis effect. And since its in the summer, you wont have to worry about people at school seeing you. These are just ideas you may try, but please get parental consent first.
1. Getting a face makeover. This could be your chance to try new colors and products you never thought of. Swap 'Rusty Red' for 'Perky Pink', and maybe go natural instead of unnatural. If you do not have even a little experience in cosmetology, do not try to makeover yourself. There are even websites where you can upload pictures of yourself and see what looks good on you. There are drug stores that sell cheap makeup products, that are good quality.
2. Buy new clothes. Find new styles, and have fun with it. You can invite your girlfriends to a shopping trip, and they can advise you on what looks good on you, what colors are for you, and new trends you can try. Thrift stores are nothing to be ashamed of. If ever you are looking for vintage clothing, you can shop there, and find something with your taste in it.
3. Get your hair done. Dye it, perm it, cut it, curl it, straighten it, style it. Anything besides your old style. Maybe you can go crazy and dye it a crazy color? Manic panic is your friend, its a natural hair dye that enhances your hair to a bright color. Anywhere from bright red, green, yellow, pink, blue... etc. Be daring and cut your hair. You dont have to go Amber Rose (although i LOVE her hair to death), but you can go classy and get an Alicia Keys cut. Bobs are good for round headshapes.

Introduction ♥
So I was just surfing the internet one day. Just wasting my life away on the computer, when I got inspired. I knew what a blog was, I just never really thought much about it. But then, I started digging deep, and I was just inspired by all the amazing blogs made by TEENAGERS! That was what made me get off my lazy Derriere, and CHANGE THE WORLD. Ahem, i mean, the worlds view...
As I looked through other people's blogs, I thought to myself," Now, what is a good, original idea for a teen blog?." Because knowing me, I'm anything but cliche. Here's what I came up with:
~A blog about the life(S) of regular teenagers (particularly High Schoolers).~
Keeping in mind that I was not a High Schooler myself, albeit just graduating 8th grade, and becoming one in the following school year, my blog started out in June. I went through a crapload of blog names, and will potentially change them in the near future. But I liked the idea of making a blog that will relate to my peers. I hope you subscribe to my blog and such ♥
